16 inch wheels

I am thinking of using 16 inch wheels on my 58 F100. I have a line on 4 at a good price but three are 5.0 inchs wide, one is 4.5 inches wide. Will there be any problem running this set with 205 or 215 tires? They have inney nubs.
TIA

I wouldn't think so but best to check with your local tire shop.

I pulled up a random 205R16 vintage tire, it calls for a minimum 5 inch rim width with a maximum of 7.5 inches. You should be able to squeeze them on a 5 inch rim. As for the 4.5 incher, it will be a very tight squeeze (the tire section width is over 8 inches). I'm more concerned about the mismatch. It will effect, at least, the track width and tire diameter of the odd wheel. I would suggest you find a 4th, matching, wheel. If that's not possible, definitely look at the possibility of a smaller tire (185?).

Thank you, More Turbo, I hope find another 5 inch rim. As for tire size, I have no problem going down to a 185 or 195. I kind go against the flow, I like the original ride height and look.

Those narrower tires steer easier as well. I have 205's on mine.

Narrow is good IMHO. The truck has power steering and power disc front brakes.
