I must admit, that's one of the lesser nauseating 23+ front ends I've seen.
It would be nice if manufacturers chose a consistent design language and stuck with it instead of completely changing everything every two years. For example, even though the headlights themselves are continually evolving, all Porsche DRL's still have the 4 dots, so you know it's a Porsche.
I like the regular XLT front end on the 23's. Not a fan of those little dash things on the Lariat. I also like how the lights and grill are separate and not just one big fascia where the lights are sort of "hidden" in the grill like it is on the higher trims.

screw design language, maybe keep the same damn headlights (or even front end body panels) for more than 3 years so people can have a better chance of sourcing OEM parts out of warranty as either new parts or used units.

I did a little swapping back and forth and in person I liked the chrome grille inserts best but I didn’t mind them blacked out either. Here’s a pic of the chrome with the black inserts
its just a simple 5 minute swap whenever I get bored of either look
and I know some will say it’s a truck so who cares but I like the daytime running light c-bars too much to give away
Go back to the 2022 look. We have several ‘24 GMC HD’s on the farm and the guys aren’t real impressed with them when compared to the Ford. Visibility is the biggest complaint because of the hood design. Not real sure why they are blocking visibility the way they are. My 2019 Duramax is bad enough compared to Ford but the ‘20+ is terrible. ‘20+ GM seats are laughable too. Very uncomfortable. They just as well mount actual 5 gallon buckets in there so they can legitimately can claim they have bucket seats.
23+ Super Duty is ugly up front but at least it’s bareable in comparison to GM. RAM isn’t bad to look at, I just won’t own another one.
I am glad I'm not the only one who felt this way. Test drove a new GMC and could not see over the hood no matter how I adjusted the uncomfortable seat. Haven't had a Ford since 2005, awaiting delivery of a 24 Lariat now and can't wait.
Seems like GM dropped the ball with having the hood/front clip higher than the beltline on the rest of the truck. Makes visibility difficult as many have stated.
The 2023 XL is a clean simple front end. The 2wd has such a road truck stance.
Sitting next to this monsterGMC gives a neat view, That GMC is a fully loaded beautiful beast and is a respectable truck.
This is a prime example of Fords sloped hood that I'm not a fan of. All prior truck platforms didn't have that slope with a bigger grill just look better IMO. My '12 doesn't have much of a sloped hood and visibility is excellent.
Yes the '20 - '22's look better but I don't hate the '23+ and think it's still much better looking than the Ram or GMC......no point in mentioning the Chevy! LOL
