Trying to decide
I'm thinking about buying a 1986 f-250 6.9 idi.
it has been sitting for about 6 years.
I have bought new batteries, and changed the fuel filter. I have an electric pump feeding the filter from a 5 gallon jug, I have a check valve prior to the filter.
I have bled the filter housing, but I an not getting any fuel out of the pump at the lines.
the fuel shut off solenoid is working.
There is another solenoid in that cover, and it doesn't appear to work.
I have sprayed some starting fluid directly into the air intake port, and it doesn't even try to start.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
