Tach does not work for about 5 min
Anybody have a wiring diagram for a 1990 F350 Dually Diesel?
my tack does not read for about 5 min when starting cold and it shifts like crap when tach inop also when Tach is not working I can not active the overdrive switch. once the Tach comes on it shifts pretty normal and the O/D switch works..I cant see a reason for the Tach to not come on right away. any help???

do you know the replacement works or you don't have a bad connection ???
I had the same problem, cold-no tach reading, shifting problems, after warmed up tach works, I replaced the tach sensor and truck ran fine,
