Do you need the government to approve installing a diesel?
Unfortunately yes in Denmark we do, and it can turn up to be some of a project. I am going to need a bunch of documentation on everything on the car, if I am lucky and do this right it should be possible to skip inspection on everything I weld and skip the driving, steering and brake test.
It is some kind of a Nightmare to do projects here, but it can do sometimes.
Quite a few of these old Ford diesel trucks still are out there. There is a Facebook group called the "N-Series Ford Trucks 1963-1969 Registry". I own 2 Ford diesel trucks. My 1964 N-600 originally had a 292-gas engine in it but the former owner installed a diesel engine out of a later model N model Ford truck. I also own a 1966 Ford N-6000 parts truck. Both trucks have the 330 Dagenham diesel engine in them. I will try to add links here to my trucks in the registry.

If my links don't work, just go to the group, which is public, click on Media, and then Albums.
My trucks are No. 507 & 503

Hey
Thanks, thats a cool truck you have there.
And thanks for the details, I think they are gonna work. I am hoping that, if I bring them a lot of examples it will convince them.
Looks like the Dagenham has the radiator in front of the core support. I have an 89 dodge/cummins to measure and it looks like radiator should fit in its normal location, behind the core support. Now to find a small intercooler that will fit in front. Lass9879, sounds like you have a later 5.9 with an ECU, I believe there are ways to eliminate that, but I am no cummins expert. My motor is from a 99 ford, but still mechanical injection. must be one of the last
ones!

Yes, my Cummins is from 2006, so its a 24 Valve HO. It dosen't bother me I have an ECU. I am looking into getting some modification done to it so all the ABS, ESP emissions control, ect. wont interfear with any performance, and of course a lot more power.
Further more I have gotten my hands on a marine kit from Mercury, that fit 1:1 on a Cummins. Wiring, digital screen, smart start or/and key start, gauges, and that I think could end up being a bad *** setup somehow
