You're absolutely right. I've seen links to The Cool Down on my Edge browser, and everything they post is clickbait. Mr. Budin wrote a short summary of the original source article, which is already quite readable for the average consumer.

The TL;DR is that Supercharging doesn't have any noticeable impact on range. People looking to preserve the lifespan of their battery can fast charge as often as they want. Fast charging has a much bigger impact on my wallet than the truck's battery, so I still prefer to charge at home. 💸
