This came off a ranch in the area used to gather firewood, driver, it will need a new seat, the 40 years work have taken a toll. The rest is in pretty good shape for a 40 year old rig.
Ist thing I would do is try to get in there and put paint or oil inside the rear cab corners. I think those extended cab trucks like to rot worse than the regular cabs do. Looks like you have got a good one with no or little rust. You can also check the seam that goes from the roof gutter above the door to the rear window. The caulk in the body seam likes to crack, and this is what rots out the cab corners. That is, when it rains which you probably don't get much where you are at?
I had an old Bronco that had the roof seam needed attention, I'll check the cab corners for rust and add some oil. I'm thinking there should be a bunch of these in wrecking yards for parts. Tailgate handles missing to start.

Another problem area is the third brake light. That seal is probably non-existent if it hasn't been replaced. That's what rotted out my cab corners.

Great find. These Supercabs are extra sweet to find!
Nice job on your 85! I won't be going hat deep into it but it will look much better sometime down the road, think I have a bed located and that's the worst part of the old work truck. If you don't mind I may contact you with questions. I know that dash needs some work as not all the gauges are working.
Unless you want something custom the factory gauges are not hard to trouble shoot and get working again.
Ground the wire for that gauge and if it moves with power on the sender is bad.
If it dose not move you will need to dig deeper.
You did check fuses?

No chance to look into anything, pressure washed the engine and then Christmas took over, likely not back at this until next year.

Does yours have the captains chairs? Mine does, and they're nice, but I love the simplicity of a bench seat.
