New Owner!

Hi there, new owner, bear with me.
I just bought a 1982 F150XLT I6 manual 3spd O/D, 2WD stepside.
It's stunning condition, no rust, 180K kms (112K mls), never winter driven, heated storage, only driven 4000km (2500mls) in the last 8 years and service records.
I just have to get it through an emmissions test, so I'll give it a tune up. The guy says two years ago he filled the tank and it still has the same gas. I put methanol in the tank to get any water out, but I can't see how to drain it, so I'll do some freeway driving then fill it up with fresh gas. It got a new carb this year but runs a little "lumpy" and has a bit of noise from the clutch throw bearing .
Any advise would be appreciated. It's a great looking truck, I'm pretty happy about driving a nice old vehicle that's easy to work on.
Cheers

It could run better if you gave it a good tuneup, plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, after sitting awhile, the throwout bearing might have dried grease in it, rumble sound when engaged....squeaks also. Check the oil and have it changed too, antifreeze is always good to changed and a good flush would help that water pump seal stay fresh.
