so I was buying parts for my current project right? well I bought a 50 dollar motorcraft 2100 that was working a few months ago and it's a front feed instead of a side feed and an auto choke instead of a manual choke, any ideas on how to fix the choke or should I rip apart the holley (20k miles on that one) and fix the whatever us causing no fuel to my accelerator pump?

Reason: information changed due to seller of said trucks writing a fraudulent title and selling the trucks out from under me
I would do both. The choke is easy. On my 71 there is a wire at the firewall with 12v so I just tied into that.
I might be a weirdo but I really like the manual choke so I might see if I can get a different carb again since I need the choke and throttle on the left side but that's not a bad idea just don't really wanna hack into the pristine harness If I don't have to

Mine didn't have to be hacked, it had a female ended bullet plug just hanging out. All I had to do was run a wire.
Nothing wrong with rebuilding and putting bushings in the holly if needed though too. If I could find an inexpensive Holley I would go that route. I just happen to have accumulated 3 2100's for near nothing and am rebuilding all 3 and putting in bushings in them. They'll be ready if I need them. Still considering going 4 barrel when i have the engine out here soon.
