67 F100 ?

thought the f100 was a 1/2 ton like the f150.so then you are saying that the f100 i was looking at was a 3/4 ton then.i thought that the 3/4 ton was designated as an f250 only guess you learn something new every day.

A lot of things can be changed out in nearly 40 years. This truck could have been wrecked many years ago and body parts from a F100 could have been used. My trucks title starts F25 but it is a F100 all the way. Go figure.

basically it boils down to the bosy parts are interchangeable and the vin is unreliable cuz it is mounted to the door which is removable. so the best thing to do is look at the suspension more than likely if it is running 8 lug wheels it has 3/4 ton suspension. but somebody may have swapped out just the spindles and rear axle to get the bigger 3/4 ton brakes. best thing to do is get under it and find out.
