ok this is a weird one i have a 1997 ford 250 hd with the 351 w efi. now for the problem on bank 1 cylinder 4 the bolt hole is missing the back where it should block off the coolant port. (acidently punched it out with a center punch long story dont ask)
question 1 is there any other coolant or oil ports behind or near that bolt hole that i possibly damaged as well?
question 2 could i use jb weld to glue a peice of threaded rod into the hole and would that work?
i really dont want to buy a new head i just rebuilt the motor and dont want to replace all the gaskets again and spend the money and time on it again, also the motor is out of the truck any thoughts or other ideas are welcome.
I'm not as familiar with the small blocks, but all I can say is if you did just rebuild it and It was mine I'd be willing to put the time and money into replacing the head over trusting jb weld. You'll cry a lot more if it starts leaking oil and blows up or leaks coolant and overheats
