bed fix?

Hi I haven't been working on my truck for a while. I noticed I have cracks starting on the wood bed floor near the cab side. The rest of the board is in great shape. Any way I can save these boards? I plan to take them out and these boards sand and lightly stain them. It's not a show truck but I don't want it to look nasty. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jerryt

Take them out and glue and clamp them with good exterior glue. Sand them. Then paint them your choice of color.

you can also drill into the side of the crack and shoot a screw into it to squeeze it together and help the glue.

CA glue works great...the choice for most woodworkers especially in the repair of splitting wood.

your best bet is to use lots of glue and a screw with a pilot hole.

You could do what boat builders do if the cracks aren't too bad. Get some epoxy and fill the cracks with it, then clamp across the cracks to pull them together. Let dry for at least 24 hours before taking the clamps off. Then sand the boards to even out the epoxy and stain.
