My 23 got a Power-up 5.2.2 update Tuesday. All the message in the Ford app says is that it is "refinements to keep things running at their best." Anyone know what is actually included in this update? I wish Ford really took these updates more seriously and shared more specifically what they are updating.
I took my truck to the dealership back on Oct 6th and while it was in there it updated to 5.1.1 and that was the first update since getting the truck in June. About 2-3 weeks ago it updated to 5.2.1 sitting in my garage. 2 days ago it updated to 5.3.1 during the day sitting in the parking lot at work. It's a 2023 F-350 XLT 7.3 with the 8" screen.
My 23 got 5.2.1 on December 3rd, said something about updating the trailer profile settings. It changed the Sync software version from 23151 revision 902 to 23163 revision 917. Went into the trailer profile settings and don’t notice anything different.
My truck is working great in all aspects, if Ford was to send me an update the chances are much higher, in my mind, of an update screwing ***** up more than helping something that aint broke...I'm not accepting anything else from Ford in that regard.
