Thumbs up motorcraft2100 ?

i wanted to know what could happen if one side was richer than the other in gas. turn adjust the carb would i screw them in all the way and then screw them out at the same time until adjusted
THX...

With the truck off, gently screw both idle mixture screws in all the way. Then unscrew them both out about 2 turns.

Now crank the truck and let it come up to normal temp. After it's warmed up screw in one of the idle mixture screws until the engine starts to "bogg". Then back it off alittle. Next do the same thing to the other idle mixture screw.

This procedure will work fine but, to do this properly you need a vacuum gauge. The procedure is the same except you adjust for the highest manifold vacuum reading.

If you experiance any exshaust "popping" on deceleration try adjusting the screws a 1/4 turn or so.

Remember that these screws only adjust your carb when it's at an idle condition. They really don't have any affect once you come off idle.
