being that wiring harness's can live the entire life of a vehicle, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

the only thing of concern is if there will be good reliable repair parts later down the road. @ john, you probably don't have anything to worry about. the ones of us that still have 30 yrs to go if not longer might. but by then, some may end up getting something else, hard to predict the future

I may have 30k miles worth of fuel on hand and the tanks on my truck hold enough to cross the country without stopping for fuel. As long as people keep eating fried food, I’ll be good. I’m sure even as we transition from bacon to bugs, people will keep deep frying stuff. Especially in the south!
