Thanks for all your input, guys. I really appreciate it! As for the e-brake, I never thought of it that way. I'm used to setting them all the time on ambulances and fire trucks. The brake activated the high idle to run the lights and all on the ambulances and the air brakes held the fire trucks since there was no "park" on them. 30 years of habits will be a struggle, but I'll definitely use it less on my pick-up.
