I find the seats in my 18 Platinum to be an upgrade over just about any other vehicle seat I've sat in. I have sciatica that causes my right leg to become painful after sitting uninterrupted in anything for over 90 minutes without a break. So when I was truck shopping, I placed a premium on the massaging seat option. With that option in use, I can handle about 3.5 hours before I need a break
Same here.I had a 16 F-150 Lariat that the side bolsters on the bottom cushion were too stiff and pressed right into the nerve on my legs that it was unbearable to drive more than 10 minutes and I have a 75 minute drive. My previous 2014 Lariat was comfortable, so the seats did change, and I got a 2018 Platinum, seats were MUCH improved. Now in the 23+ the Lariats have a bead sewn in the bolster that really presses that tender spot, 1 minute in the seat and I had to get out, I could NOT sit in it.
I found a work around for the 2016 though, remove the lower cover and cushion, then insert 2" foam underneath, cut a hole for the ventilation if it has it, then put the original back on top. It raises the center portion and spreads the bolsters out so they no longer press against the thighs. I just bought a small package of foam from the bedding department at Walmart. It might be all the OP needs too.

Thanks. I'll give this a try!
