Has anyone installed the clutch pivot bracket from CPP and not haven't be extremely sloppy? We've gotten ours just about done, and it's so bad that there's no possible way that this is correct.
Any recommendations on tightenIng that up?
We were just gonna stack some washers on that to take up the slack.
The larger hole in the equalizer bar does just float over the bushing on the pedal shaft. Then there is a spring that fits between the bushing and the "collar" (not represented very well in the drawing. I would call it an arm) that swings the equalizer bar.
ETA: Spring Location
ETA2: Here is a picture showing the bushing and spring reversed. I've always thought it should be like this but put mine together the way it came apart. Either way, it gives a better look at the spring.
