Does anyone know what number fuse controls the glove box light? I was upgrading my lights to led and when I was changing the third row “reading” lights my radio stopped playing, my glove box light went out and I am still trying to figure out what else. The radio lights and the clock still work as does the cd player which still loads and unloads however there is no sound and it won’t turn on, I changed all fuses that I believe are related to the radio and still nothing. My only lead right know is the glove box light fuse. Any help is appreciated, 03 Ex V10 limited
Fuse F41 supplies power that is switched through the battery saver relay to a whole bunch of things (see owner's manual for full list) including switchable interior lights. It also feeds the accessory delay relay which must work in order for the radio and power windows to work.
There are a number of threads for both the Exc and F-SD where F41 was blown while working on the lights, usually swapping bulbs, causing a loss of all those lights, the radio, and power windows. SEARCH keyword "F41" and my username to find them.
Thank you projectSHO89, today I was going to start checking the fuses with my meter. I figured it had to be a mystery fuse which the system was associated with that that the owners manual didn’t list. I’ll report back with the results.
