Alright, so I have a, well it's a lot of different trucks. Cab is a 99, engine is a 6.8 v10 2000 model, and rolling chassis is a 4x4 05 f550. So I know the gas models have a brake booster since they create vacuum and diesels don't so they get hydra-boost. My question is would the hydra-boost system be better on my f550 weighing 18,000lbs+? I looked at a 2023 f350 with the new gas 7.3 and it had hydra-boost instead of a brake-booster.
Hydra boost is a very abundant and done upgrade for alot of people for trucks.
Espically because Chevy produced so many of them over the years. I'm not sure at what point in weight you go from brake fluid to air setup but
I certainly do know that hydra boost is very a big upgrade between vacuum and hydra boost.
I don't even get why its a question really? Yes its a huge upgrade over vacuum.
