P0743 code but it still works
Hey everyone,
I am getting a p0743 code and a check engine light. The TCC still locks up but only once the 4r100 gets to 120 degrees. Everything else runs really well, the transmission shifts fine. I am going to start looking through wiring but was curious if anyone had some insight.

The P0743 code indicates an electrical circuit problem. It could be a wiring issue, a bad connector, or a bad solenoid. Since you say it is still locking the converter, it appears to be an intermittent issue. The P1744 code set because of the electrical issue.
Looking through the wiring is just wasting time. You need to check the wiring electrically to find a problem.
