If you were inclined to do a writeup on that process, I would be interested. I have thought about doing that with the other four hydraulic struts, but don't really have the courage to attempt it. I almost wonder if a wedge spacer could be made to unbolt the strut and just angle it very simply.
MY DRV fifth wheel has the stabilizer brackets on a 15 degree angled outward so the stabilizers are angled, does make a different .If you want to spend the money, or have the skill level, modify the brackets. Going to do it to my friend's Grand Design.
Id like pics of this if you got em? Not sure I'm tracking.

I have heard from fellow full-timers that the tripod does help in the front and is especially helpful if you have a washer up front. We will be getting one to test that theory.
We have a GD390RK with six point self-leveling, triangulation arms, Anderson red buckets, and adjustable slide stands under the rear frame under the kitchen. The only thing that really helps are the buckets and rear frame supports. The triangulation arms did not really make an impact. I suspect it is because our system is hydraulic and pretty stable all on its own. Perhaps on other systems where the leges are manually adjusted square tubing.
The buckets do just what we talked about, shortening the legs, the red buckets are 12" high about twice what I use. I may have to look into them instead of the 5 packs of legos to save some room. Can you stack these inside each other for storage?
