My guess is clockspring

I have been dealing with my phone/stereo buttons haven't been working. Something I didn't check before buying it. I replaced the button part first and still nothing so my only guess at this point is something isn't working on the clock-spring. No sounds like some of the you tube research. I'm not in a real rush to replace since I don't use the buttons a lot. Just was playing around with buttons is how I noticed it wasn't working. Just wanted some opinions on eBay for price or mainly OE? I noticed the other day speaker on passenger side sounds bad so looking around to find a decent set and replace them. That is when I will go ahead and fix the clock-spring as well since I will be changing them. Stereo to my knowledge is stock so not going overboard on sound since it's more just back ground sound for me when driving. If any suggestions there, I'm listening. Thanks guys for any input.

I'm betting water got into that right-side speaker?

I also think the clock-spring is a prime suspect. Unfortunately, I don't know of a good way to test it.

I don't see any signs of water but it's clear it's bad. I really wont know till I get in there. The clock spring changed seems pretty straight forward from the videos I have watched.
