Come on man, really? That’s the best you can do? Somebody help me out. Please.
All trucks and vans take the black stripe modulator. The black stripe gives the firmest shift from the factory which is necessary in a heavy vehicle. The other colors are for passenger cars and give a softer shifts. It's dependent on the weight and gear ratio of the vehicle but trucks take the black stripe.
Thanks for the info. I’ll get one ordered today. If it doesn’t fix early shifting, 1st to 2nd around 7-8 and 2nd to 3rd around 18-20 any thoughts on where to go next? I also have no kick down.

The kickdown just quickens the 3-2 downshift if you floor it. It won't make it shift early. Put a black stripe in it and we'll go from there, usually some previous genius just put the wrong replacement in at some point. Catalogs aren't always clear on the correct applications for those modulators. The colored modulators in a full sized truck will make it shift early and the shifts will feel soggy.
When you pull your old one out make sure you don't lose the pin that slides into the back of the modulator.
