Hello all. Leann here. My husband and I are rebuilding a 1967/68 F100. So, your site was a natural. I've been lurking here for quite some time and thought it was time to pitch in and join up. The truck we are working on is registered as a 1967, but the cab is a '68 and the 4.9 engine is out of an '81. The truck was sold and spent most of it's life in Arizona. We are putting in a 4r70w auto transmission. We just finished with a complete TMI interior and have a Painless wiring harness installed in the cab and to the rear of the truck. The front harness is awaiting the engine and transmission install. Here is a pic of the truck before we took it apart. As you can see, the truck had door poppers and no door handles. I fixed that as I hate door poppers. Also, the white wagon wheels are gone replaced by a set of Torq Trust. It also now has a wooden bed. More changes of the way. I do most of the work, but I did farm out the engine to a machine shop that has experience building the 300/4.9 for drag racing. No, I didn't build a "drag racing engine" but it is nice that they are very familiar with the 300. I hope to learn a lot here and hopefully get help from people that have been there before. Right now, we need an oil dipstick tube that screws into the block to complete the engine build. Don't ask how it got misplaced lol. So, if you have one, please let me know. That's all folks and I hope to hear from a lot of you in the future.

Hi there, Leann. Welcome to the forum. We hope you find useful tips and information.
Thanks. I bought this as my shop truck ( I do woodworking on the side) to go fetch wood and such. It was a good buy, but it didn't have air, or PS, and the clutch and bench seat were shot. So, I began to change all that and one thing led to another. As per normal with me, I got to thinking well while I'm here, I'll do this too and so on. It got out of hand lol. But, I love it.
