Hey guys, I’m in search of my pcm code, no sticker on the plug anywhere. Can I look it up by vin number? Or where else would I find it? I believe it has been replaced at somepoint according to the guy I bought it from. Any help would be appreciated!
Then you have DPC-202 hardware. I assume you are trying to buy a chip. The number above is all you need to give the tuning company and they'll send you a chip with TDE1 (VCAB0_02) tuning.

we’ll, what I’m trying to figure out is I had a buddy with a 97 e40d that has a ts 6 position chip so I wanted to figure out if his chip will work on my 95 or not?
If his was an automatic transmission with single shot injectors (factory) it will work. It won't hurt anything for you to try. Either it runs and drives or it won't even start - in which case you'll know.

okay cool, I’m supposed to get it tomorrow so maybe I will see what happens and let you know the result. Thank you. I appreciate the help! Anything else I should know ahead of time?
Anything over 40 HP (all of them if it has genuine TS Performance tuning) will feel the same past 2200-2300 RPM. The higher horsepower ratings will just smoke more from a stop when hammered. Depending on the vintage of tuning, it might shift with....um, authority.
Otherwise, you better have a pyrometer if you're planning on towing. Happy driving!
Okay thank you! What would you suggest if it doesn’t work an my codes are different than his? I just get nervous being his was a 97 and mine is a 95,and mine is a 250 not a 350 like his, so I was just curious if that would be able to work or if the pcm codes are different if it can’t communicate?

Other than CA models in late 96-97, between 94.5-97, there are two options for F-Series...manual and auto. F250/350, 4x4/4x2, cab configuration, color, etc. do not matter.
