are the 360’s prone to have the rear main leak?

I dont think they are anymore prone than any other FE. If the truck sat it could be that you need to replace the seal. The other two locations to check are the Valve Covers and the rear of the Intake Manifold. That is an amazing looking truck!

thanks for the reply. I’m new to gas engines. Been a diesel guy for years. This is my first gasser.haven’t really looked into it yet. It coming from the rear near the trans. I’ll need help along the way being a gas engine.
Looks to be a good starting point for a nice truck build. Keep all informed with progress on the truck. Nice looking truck and like the winch bumper and patina. Good buy and enjoy the truck.
