I initially wanted baby swamps, but since they are no longer around, that's not an option.
So I am down to 2 other injectors now. Bitterroot or Fullforce.
I am going to do 180s Stage 1.5 30%, not going too crazy as I am just looking for some gains. Overall my upgrades will be turbo, down pipe, new exhaust, tymar cold air, and programmer for performance.
Who's installed what and any issues or things you would stay away from?
I think the only reputable option left is rosewood.
I don't think you can get bitterroot anymore, but if you can it is the choice I made. I haven't heard of anything good about fullforce injectors in a while.
I went with Bitterroot looking to replace a set of ff injectors that never ran quite right and started to give me problems less than 2 years in.
Interesting! I called RiffRaff and they said they don’t see that many failures. The reason why people talk about them more is because they are bought like 10x of the time.
I think I am going new with Alliants after researching more.
I put new Alliant in 2 years ago. I've had no issues. Alliant does want a core back even with new injector sales. I got lucky and stumbled on a set in the junkyard, so I was able to keep my originals.
I’ve had the full force 180/30’s for about 45k miles, I bought the KC turbos tow pkg, my only complaint is I am not getting the power they advertised, I have recently changed my leaking intake manifolds to the billets so I need to get back on the dyno to see where I’m at now, I have no other issues, however reading up after the fact and speaking to them regarding their rebuild process I would have went with bitteroot, I will probably still swap them out and have them inspected and either debunk or confirm the quality of full force
It's interesting, I have talked to 3 companies that sell multiple injectors and they all push Full Force first, Strictly Diesel, RiffRaff and etc. They said that when you look at the quantity they sell vs failure rate Full Force is lower. They also said which was more interesting is that people are not properly diagnosing there problem. Which I can see that.. lol
They also said full force customer for them is outstanding as they engage them first and one company said they have an Alliant failure and 60 days later they can't get a replacement,.
I executed full force, so we will tell soon if its good or bad...
