3 speed shift rods
Hello all my ford brothers and sisters.. I'm on the hunt for a few things to put a 3 speed in my 1983 f100.. I have a 82 f100 parts truck, it has most of the necessary stuff for the swap. But, what I can't seem to find are the 2 shift rods for the transmission.. it's a 3 speed on the column and the rods go from the column to side of trans. Is a 3 speed top loader, wanting to keep it on the column to keep some of the factory flavors..any help will be appreciated...thanks and God bless you all

You might be able to find the parts you need in a salvage yard.

If there are no manual Bullnose trucks listed you'll have to go to a specialty salvage yard. Either that or fabricate your own shift linkage.

Thanks. I've considered buying the rods for a 1979 and trying to modify them, but I'm not sure if that's even possible. I've search all over the Interweb, and cannot find them. I have called or checked all the junkyards I could find. Carparts was another failure.. I'm hoping that maybe I can find them so I don't have to notch my bench seat for a floor shifter..
