I was looking at this trying to see what it would cost to get one, would the porting be for the PS pump, or is that something different?

The porting option is used if you have or are planning on adding a hydraulic ram assist system on your vehicle. It is an added on aftermarket option and does not come standard with your vehicle. This is mostly used if you have a lift kit and run oversized tires. If you are doing a factory steering gearbox swap you would not need this option.
*Hydroboost brake systems have nothing to do with porting. The gearbox comes standard with pressure and return ports for normal operation.

I am very happy with my bluetop , I do not have it ported. I don't have a hydroboost.
