Question Diagnosing aftermarket backup camera issues ??

Brandmotion backup screen & tailgate handle camera installed last summer. Hard-wired system. Last fall, system developed intermittent signal loss. Several rounds of contacts by the installer with supplier and company finally got a determination it was the camera. Replaced camera and everything worked fine until this week when intermittent issue appeared again. Happened when backing up in a grassed field border that wasn't the smoothest. Did a test in a graveled lot and it happened again. Seemed more likely to repeat if I sped up when backing (5-10 mph).
Hard to imagine another bad camera so I'm wondering about a bad/loose wire connection that shows up in more bouncy conditions.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Are you using the stock wiring or is this an add-on? Check for wire corrosion. I had an aftermarket camera and it seemed like no amount of heatshrink could keep out moisture.

Entire system is an add-on with all work done by the installer. Didn't have a stock camera & screen. Truck sits outside so very possible moisture could get into the tailgate.

Typically I just use this truck for farm/odd stuff during the day so I hadn't driven it in the dark for a while. So this week, when I happened to drive it at night, the image on the screen was very grainy/pixelated. See the attached image. Does this look like a problem based due to camera? wiring? screen? Thanks.

Most cameras enter a 'night vision' type of mode after dark, and will become grainy. Seems kinda normal to me. However I have no experience with aftermarket camera systems.
