My truck started this knock at 900mi. It has spent months at the dealership since new trying to get it fixed. Somtimes its loud sometimes its not there.
They have replaced the trans and torque converter. They are now claiming the noise is normal after always saying it wasn't before. I mean they thought it was bad enough to replace the transmission.
The dealer is now claiming that they have tried 3 different like trucks and they all made this knock. I have access to a lot of 6.2l trucks through a construction company. I have yet to hear one that knocks. I am at a loss. Does your 6.2 make this sound?

I would try removing the belt to make sure it's not one of the accessories or the belt. It doesn't sound like it's a internal engine noise it's to erratic. When my truck was new I had a knock and it was the belt slapping, I could see it doing it through the wheel well. Now at 83K same belt but no noise.

Thanks for the Idea unfortunately we have ran it both without the belt and without the torque converter installed. It is an internal sound.
What transmission is in the truck? If it's a F350 with the 10spd, it could be noise from the torque converter area, in the bell housing. I haven't heard of any 6.2 motor and 10sp combos with this noise. But a bunch of 7.3 trucks have had this, including a 2022 that I owned. Just something to consider.

I saw on one of your other posts in the past, you mentioned a scraping sound. Mine does that too, at idle. I used a stethoscope and it seemed to be loudest at the oil cooler adaptor housing.

The dealer tech suspected it was air intrusion through the oil cooler making a cavitation sound they tightened the oil cooler to block connection because it was loose but it didn't fix the issue.
My 2017 6.2 6R100 F250 makes this exact same sound and has done it since (nearly) new. 60K miles now. I believe it's something in the accessory drive or belt tensioner. Truck runs strong as an ox. Pulled oil for analysis a few years ago and no issues. I don't worry about it anymore. My truck also makes a "scraping" sound at idle that was mentioned previously. These 6.2 motors make a lot of weird noises but are pretty much as bulletproof as it gets.

I had same low end knock in my 11 Harley Davidson 6.2l. 207,000 miles last 17,000 from me bought it with 188,000 last year. Roller from cyl 4 Cam lobe on cyl 4.
4 shops and 1 dealer tell me motor was shot cheaper to get new engine than rebuilding the 1 have. I wouldn't accept that being it ran great other than knock, no cel, no misfires i decided to pull my valve covers. Once in I found 13 of 16 roller rockers had excessive valve lash meaning (the plunger thingy on end of rocker that touches valve stem) were moveable by fingernail at least 1/16 to an eighth inch. passenger side had 1 roller cracked in half and chewed up my camshaft. $700 camshaft, timing set $300, 16 new rockers at 38 a piece and after replacing 3 rear main and rod bolts for cyl 3,4 and 7,8 due to checking bearings and bolts being tty bolts. After start up knock is gone but developed a nasty ticking sound, going to pull covers Tonight and check rocker arm torque. Im totally stumped at this point. Glad I didn't drop 8k on new motor. Damage on both parts had less than 100 miles from time I first heard/noticed knock.

I hope you replaced the oil pump because that damage looks like oil starvation to me.
