2.9 starter/wireing fire!!!HELP

This whole problem began when i started my 86 bronco2 and left it for about 10 minutes, when i came back my starter was running along with the engine, i quickly turned the ignition off to kill the engine but the starter remained on... so i pop the hood and see nuthing but smoke and quickly disconnected the battery....as soon as all the smoke cleared i noticed that the little red wire that activates the starter solenoid was melted from the solenoid to about 5 inches from the firewall and also melted every other wire in that harness!!!!!!

im guessing the solenoid somehow got stuck ON ....

what should i do??? is there an available aftermarket wiring harness i can purchase or should i make my own????

Thank you very much for any replies!!!

im with ken. go to the yard and find a donor harness. your other option is a company like painless and get a complete rewireing kit (fuse box wires terminals and all). if you go with a new kit you could upgrade to a 18 circut fuse box for all those lights winches and other dodads.
