If you ain't driving a ton of miles, might just keep an eye on the fluid levels and wait until your preferred mechanic can look at it. Based on location it's likely engine oil.
A trusted mechanic is worth gold so if it ain't all over your rear axle yet, it may not be so bad that it can't wait a month.

The leaking fluid appears to be diesel. Hopefully the truck won't explode? 🙀 The drive to the mechanic is about 25 or so miles.....

I read every reply. I vote this as the best # 1 reply. Check levels frequently and just park it where it won't leave a mess.
Waiting on a trusted mechanic is words of wisdom.
For those that are not in the WEST... Hauling water is a priority.
This link will give you some info on the fuel leak locations. Also where to get o-rings,etc. if you would like to do the work yourself. Rebuilding the fuel bowl and replacing orings/sleeves on fuel lines is simple, just time consuming. Good luck.

Thanks for that info but I think I will wait for the mechanic to fix it. The "work-challenged" mechanics who looked at it earlier said there was a leak in the fuel return line and a few other places. I'm an OK bicycle mechanic and a tiny bit of a motorcycle mechanic, but that's it !
Not sure what it ran you to get fixed... but if you can turn a wrench on a m/cycle, you can figure out issues on a truck 👍 will save you some $$ over time fixin the little things.
