Original looking tire options

I’m going to put a new set of tires on my 1979 f150 explorer 2wd this coming spring after I get it back from being painted. What’s a good brand of radial tire for these trucks that would look close to what it came with? I’m going to go with a 235/75R15 so it’s as close to stock as possible. Pictures would be great! Thanks

It appears the 235/75 x 15 would be the one. They are available in XL, C, D & E load ratings.

An XL or C would probably work fine.

They always look too small, but that's they way they were equipped.

That chart in post 2 shows the "letter" system of tire sizes--that didn't last long...

This is what I put on my 73. Not expensive and look pretty close to original.
