There have been several posts wondering why the cluster always goes back to the 'home' screen instead of returning to its last-used screen. I haven't seen an answer in any of them, so it is likely programmed to always return to the 'home' screen. A mistake on Ford's part, to be sure.
The odd thing is it's not 100% of the time. I've gotten back in within an hour and it's back to my previous screens but most of the time it resets. I've got to believe there's a software fix coming for this.
On my old school 2022, the center stack screen used to always go back to the last screen used, but then there was an update and now every time I restart it goes back to the audio screen, pisses me off every time I get in my truck!
Hell of a thing, to be pissed off by the truck every time you get in...

Yes...... The center console screen is in split mode. I spent time going through every menu to remove the split screen and/or to set the screen to black. No luck.
I can relate to "pisses me off every time I get in my truck". I waited 7.5 months for the truck and they program stupid stuff. The sad part is that I am a retired developer and know how easy it is to fix it.
