Coolant Filter?
Couple of days ago I changed out the coolant expansion tank. After draining the fluid, I noticed a good deal of what looked like rust particles.
Has anyone put a filter on their coolant system?

What motor? I put a filter on my 6.0 following a coolant flush. I got a LOT of casting sand out of the block during the flush and the first filter change had probably a tablespoon by just dumping it out through a coffee filter. I didn't cut the filter open to see what was inside. The dump told me all I needed to know. And, I changed to an ELC coolant when I did all that in lieu of the Motorcraft Gold.
