I can't read it but it reminds me of the radiator fill cap. Can someone help me with a better image or what it should say? Kinda looks like an "R" but not clear enough. There is a yellow line around it that is the same color as the middle character.
The original cap would have looked like that on a 64 but would have said oil on it in raised letters. I have an original in the attic and a NOS laying around somewhere. I will see if I can get a picture of the NOS one.
I haven't seen any in recent years but back in the old days they usually consisted of chrome valve covers, oil filler cap, coil cover and dip stick and some had an aircleaner the best I remember
It's a driver so chrome is out for me.
If I could design and make 3d items (hint hint), a filler piece that is round and says 710 = OIL so it looks like the original ones, now that would be cool.
For now, I just cleaned and painted mine black.
