Windshield wipers not working.

I have a 1985 ford f250 6.9 diesel and my windshield wipers don’t work. I don’t have anything, no noises, nothing, totally dead. Does anyone know why this is? Is it a common problem? I got the truck a couple months ago and I didn’t have wipers then either. It was sitting for two years when I got it.

Here is a Video for you to watch.

Check for voltage at the wiper switch, if you get voltage there, have the wipers on and check for voltage at the wiper motor.

does the switch turn counterclockwise? if it does, that there is delay wipers.
the delay module tends to go bad and you will loose wipers.

sorry, should have been more specific.
clockwise you have low, than high setting. three separate settings on the switch.
if it turns counter clockwise from off setting that is delay wipers.

ok, than you have delay wipers. feel along the wire from switch up towards firewall and wiper motor wires. you should feel/see a small box, around 2 1/2 inch square. it very well may have been removed because it was bad and never replaced.

this one is from an 87, so it may be a little different than your, but they all pretty much are the same size.
on mine the switch plug is different than the motor side plug. but i believe the pre 87 units had the same plug both sides. just don't remember for sure..
