That guy is good! I got good at doing the evaporators on 2011-2016 Super Duty's, they fail quite often. Steering column and dash have to come out on those too, but the trucks I work on are XL fleet models so a lot less parts. Cute how Ford makes you buy the whole evap. case. Jerks.....
What I found alarming was the factory slip-ups that A-Rod was discovering during the teardown. Simple, stupid things that show laziness and indifference on the assembly line. Makes me wonder just what someone overlooked or didn't do when mine went down the line...
However, after watching all that is required to get to the evaporator core I've decided that this job would be one I'd gladly let a competent shop take care of, for mine. I have no doubt that I can do it, but just don't have the time required, frankly.
