For a Ford? Where would you put em? One turbo can give you all the boost you need. Two would just be cool at the truck shows.

"Speed costs how fast do you want to go"

Malcolm is right, start with one and set a base line for future turbo additions :-)

Two smaller turbos would be great, you'd get a much faster spool up at a lower rpm, not to mention non-existent turbo lag. That would equal even MORE off idle torque. The manifolds could be custom made and sit the two turbo's right over the valve covers. Were started to do a TT BBchevy project back in the spring, but it got put on hold for this year. We started to make the manifolds from 1-1/2" schedule 40 butt-weld steel pipe, cut the exhaust flange out of 3/8 plate, and the turbo mounting flange out of 1/2" plate. I started to weld it all together, then the job got put on hold. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to make manifolds (called up-pipes) to fit a 7.3L exhaust flange.

Hands are getting sweaty just thinking about this one.

The whine from two snails under the hood would make you deaf.

A guy in my area owns a deisel performance shop and has a 2000 Dodge Cummins with twin turbos pushing over 100 pds of boost. It is an all out wild and crazzy truck that he pulls with and drives on the street now and then. It has everything known to man on it the computers and all kinds of billet shafts and everything else. 800 HP at the rear wheels and who knows how much torque
