Chasis swap info
I have a 1999 F250, looks like the F150, with the 5.4 and manual shift 4R100 transmission and the 7 lug wheels. It’s my plow truck and it’s done very well, but the body is starting to look like a colander due to rust. I’m looking for a donor body to transfer at least the engine and transmission into, but I’m not sure what chassis type fit my engine and transmission configuration. Any info, or if you can point me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated. I’ve contacted my local Ford dealership and they weren’t any help.
