ENGINE SWAP
Friend of mine has a blown 5.4 in a 2009 F250 and wants to swap it for a FREE 5.4 out of a 2007 F150. Don't believe it's a straight swap and there are other factors besides the older engine being a 5.4. therefore it will fit without issues. Don't know that as a fact but would like to know what's involved and how much money he might have to spend to make this happen. Any info is most apprecited. BTW I own a F150 and know very little about 250's.

I don't remember all the details about the 5.4, but I wouldn't say it will 'fit without issues.' I'm sure someone else will chime in but I would be prepared to swap accessory brackets and motor mounts at the very least.
