From me more congrats on the new truck especially considering you bought pretty much what was on your wish list! Looking forward to your impressions as you gain experience with the EV truck!
I would have to buy it. Then the 2nd dealer would buy it from my for $10k over sticker. I would have to pay sales tax. But I'm buying them for under invoice aos after sales tax my cost would be about slightly below MSRP. I still would net $10k

They even said the one I have on order 1000 miles out of town, they would send a transport to pick it up so I don't even need to travel to get it.

The truck would be listed as used since It was titled to me originally. I flipped a 2022 F-350 Platinum in January after 3 weeks ownership and pocketed $4,500. The 450s are rare and command over MSRP.

Update:

Our Lightning has become the vehicle of choice for our 125 mile trip from house to cabin
The ride is exceptional.
Adaptive cruise control with lane keeping is much nicer than the Tesla basic autopilot
Apple CarPlay and google maps work great wirelessly.
The 30% extra time it takes to charge the less efficient truck is noticeable. We charge with Tesla charger at 48 amps at home and 30 amps at cabin. I’m I’m installing a Tesla charger hard wired at our cabin. It will be connected to an existing 50 amp circuit so it will charge at 40 amps at the cabin. I received the Tesla Wall Connector Charger for free with a referral credit.
LOVE the FRONK.
Parking it a local malls is tight. We take the Teslas to the malls, doctor visits etc.
I did one CSS DC fast charge. 2 of the 4 EA chargers were broken. It did charge at 120 kws but took 2x longer to replenish miles than our Teslas do at Superchargers. There were 12 functioning Tesla stalls Next to the EA stalls. Can’t wait for Tesla to open up to Ford.
I’ve been able to use the Lightning as a power backup at the cabin. It will run the 2 well pumps and every thing else except for the power hungry AC, Stove etc

change subject
Sold our 22 F450 to a wholesaler for about $4000 more than paid for it new and 2024 450 is in transit for $2000 more than what we sold the 22 for. I got another $2000 PCO that I’m going to use for the 450 so the only cost will be sales tax and license fees for the swap. The 450 is only used to tow our 14,000 lb 5th wheel RV

Thanks for this. It lines up mostly with my impressions as well.

My home charger is on a 50A circuit, so I'm only charging at 40A through my Tesla Wall Connector. I'm only on a 50A circuit, so I'm only charging at 9 kW overnight, which is more than enough to keep up. I came home last night at 7% and was able to get back to 83% during my 12-hour off-peak charging period.

I did lots of DC fast charging on the road to New Hampshire and back in November, and the only times I saw 120 kW was at low SOC on 150 kW stations. On those, I started at 120 kW and slowly grew to 150 kW becuase the stations couldn't push more than about 380A if I remember right. On a 350 kW station, I'd start about 155 kW and hold 170-180 through about 65-70% before it started to drop. The Lightning doesn't compete for peak charging speeds, but the curve is stronger at higher SOC than either of my Teslas.

My XLT truck doesn't have Blue Cruise, but I find the CoPilot 360 Assist package easier to live with than Tesla's Autopilot. It still requires me to keep my hands on the wheel, but it's less jerky with steering corrections and lets me guide the truck to different parts of the lane without a harsh disengagement. It's a much more comfortable ride than my Model Y, but it's much more cumbersome in tight parking lots. This truck is the first vehicle I've had with 360º cameras, and I don't see why Tesla doesn't offer a similar feature. It makes a huge difference in tight areas.

My impressions exactly. Less jerky, no harsh dissengagment, allows to guide different parts of lane and great 360 camera.

Off topic: Why di you have two well pumps at the cabin? I can only assume the wells are a bit shallow and work in tandem to supply water to the living space. Maybe one pump supplies the cabin and the second supplies another part of the property.

Just curious as I had seen someone run dual pumps for a cabin.

One is inground submersible well pumps that feeds water through softener and fills an aerator storage tank to remove Hydrogen Sulphide gas that also adds chlorine to kill bactiera .
The other is a “house jet pump” jthat pumps chlorinated/aerated water from tank through carbon filer to remove chlorine and pressurized water to the house.

Similar to this.
