I started getting a P-0231 secondary circuit low code and shortly after that the truck stalled out completely while driving. Took a few minutes and started up again...this pattern continued.
Now a week or so later I'm having a separate issue of the battery draining. Not sure if these two things are connected or not.
Additional information that may be neither here nor there... About a month ago, I had all glow plugs and harness replaced. I also had the bank 1 injectors replaced shortly after.
Any chance the fuel pump relay and battery drain are related? Any chance any of this is connected to the work that was done?
Has anyone installed an external relay to avoid replacing/repairing the "smart" junction box?
Any short that has developed on the truck over time can cause the battery to drain.
You need to identify the battery draining issue first then work from that.

Yes. It has been documented multiple times on this (and other) forum.
The P023x DTCs usually result from a stalling episode. They have about as much value as having your radar detector go off and you know you 'll have a ticket very shortly.
