The ABS Module on my 96 F250 gasser is behind the glove box, and you remove the glove box with no tools. There are two clips on the bottom (hinges) that you press with your thumb and it comes out after a little maneuvering. The ABS Module is right behind that, and removes with two (8mm?) hex screws, and the black connector is a normal PITA clip.
Original post:
I found a lot of info on 97+ ABS units, and I can find the actual unit on RockAuto, but I haven't found anything telling me where the ABS is on the 96 F250. Can someone point me in the right direction please, and if there is a good resource so I can find these things myself in the future I'd love to see that too. (FSM is usually over my head though.)

Reason: Solved
If there is an issue with the RABS module I'd just disconnect it and leave it that way. It will disable that system but I've never had any issue without it. Drives like any other older truck.
Do keep all the posts related to the same issue in the same thread. That will also make it easier for you to find all the info in one place.
Why do you keep starting new threads for the same issue?
The answer is in your other thread where you asked the same question.
The RABS module is located behind the glovebox.
It's not quite the same issue but anyway the thread you're referring to was in the wrong forum. My error, so I edited the opening comment to say as much and then I opened this in the correct place. But so many people had already started to help me there that I seem to have created a small monster.
Can you confirm that the thing I need to detach is the thing I circled in this photo? On mine, this is very hard to get to (not at all open like in the photo) so I think I can disconnect this, but I want to be sure I have the right thing beause I expect it will be almost impossible to reconnect without removing all kinds of things.
Good luck OP, and keep up the good work. I feel like too many people on forums just parrot the advice "rip it out, who needs ABS". These systems are actually pretty simple to deal with, and I dunno about you guys, but I find driving to be noticeably easier and safer when they work. The brake proportioning is not designed to work without RABS and the wheels will lock up all the time. Yes, more often than pre-RABS vehicles. If you go on eBay, for about $10 you can get a manual that tells you everything (and then some) you would ever need to know about RABS, how to fix it, and how to diag it. "Light Truck Rear Antilock Braking Systems". Good read if you ever get the chance.
