2011 Tail gate with flex step top
Posted in another forum but no response and views. This forum is much much more active.
I Broke the top Moulding on my flex step and Im and trying to find replacement.
The parts are all over the place price wise from el cheapo on Ebay to Oh My goodness your kidding on Fordparts.com
Anyone ordered order a top of the flex step moulding and did it fit. Its the 8C3Z9940602DA
I'm afraid of the Amazon ones not fitting properly and wasting money.

Then there is the times where the product was shipped by a vendor with poor packaging damage and Amazon tells me to go pound sand.

I need to replace mine as well. I've replaced the two end caps already at $40 a piece from the Dealer and the step section is much more weathered looking than the end caps. That step section is spendy at $150 from the dealer. Think I might try the Amazon version for $88 for all three pieces. Will post back after installing them.

another for the newer trucks... see if they have trim for the older trucks...

Welp, ordered one, just to see what I get. Only orded the center.
Found one for 39 and thought Id try it. Until it tacked 45 bucks for shipping on it.

I have to be careful when pulling the step out not to grab that thin plastic piece when hitting the release button. Which is tough because I'll bet I pull the step out a dozen times in a week.

Well my Amazon fear hit, the one that I ordered was black but the one I recieved was a greenish Grey.
Over a week + trying to get the supplier to agree to a return and replacement.
The one thing I dont like about amazon.
Although Amazon sent me a link for return. the seller says its incorrect.

The only issue for me is the nearest UPS store is 30 miles from me.
