'97 460ci/7.5l EFI PROPANE (dual-fuel) conversion

Hi all,

I have a motorhome on F53 chassis with 1997 460ci MPFI , about 42k miles on it. Banks intake/headers/exhaust.

Thinking of adding propane as alternate fuel for range extension and eco concerns.

Have available propane tanks, converters (Impco E) and carbs (Impco 425) plus various adapters to/from the dual air intakes:

Gann Adaptor Inlet to 425 to Dual Throttle Body IMPCO

and

Gann Adaptor A9-36 Outlet from 425 to Dual Throttle Body

I believe the adapters are intended to be used to place the carb in the intake path between the IAC and the air filter box (purple line), but could it also be placed between the throttle body and the IAC (red line?)

Finding space here is obviously an issue. I guess my question is: Would it not idle properly if the propane were added AFTER the IAC in the intake path (red line)?

Also, how would one go about disabling the gasoline/petrol fuel injectors in order to run on propane? kill power to the injectors? would that throw an ECU code?
I have a feedback controller for the carb (Dual Curve Fuel Controller III PN 59681) but I thinks it's meant more for dedicated propane and doesn't control ignition timing or disable injectors...

TIA for any experienced tips/suggestions... Paul.
