I have a 2017 F250 XL. I bought it used as a super-basic work truck - the small dash screen, no major bells and whistles. It's been a great truck, but one thing I do miss out on is the backup camera.
Is is possible to add a backup camera to this truck? Ideally I'd prefer something OEM-ish, definitely that can be displayed through the dash screen. What is the process to do this? Do I need to replace the whole tailgate, or just part of it? Do I need to splice things into the wiring harness, or are there sockets already in place I can use?
Is the anyone here who has done this and has some tips/insight into this process?
