rat damage to wiring
Took the instrument cluster out, just 8 screws and it came out a few inches. Fuel gauge does not work, was hoping to repair it so that it works. The damage does not seem to be at the cluster, but to the left. Orange wire left of cluster is eaten off, is attached to the wiring harness, but do not see where it was connected. Likewise with a green wire with yellow stripe. There is a black wire going up the post around door, just shredded. Assume it is a power wire to the 5 lights on top of cab. Also there is a black wire in the center behind the cluster, has a end like it is screwed to something, thought it might be a ground, but when I grounded it the wire got hot. How could I find what wire does what? and how to connect them?
